General Motors Indian Plans
General Motors India will launch six new models in the next two years from which it includes models three light commercial vehicle. The company who currently only makes passenger cars is now entering to a new segment with its Chinese partner Shanghai Automotive industry corporation (SAIC). The company will also introduce 14 new variants in existing models which includes the petrol version of Cruze and diesel version of Beat.
GM Halol Plant has a capacity of 85,000 which will be Expanded to 1,05,000 units for which the company is investing about Rs 450 crore.
