Porsche targets to sell 500 units this year

German car maker Porsche today unvield a new version of Cayenne SUV with a turbo-equipped Diesel engine, prices ranging from 59lakhs-2.5 crore. The Cayenne accounted about 65% of the total sales for the company and the rest 35% only came from other cars. The company sells the models including Cayenne, 911, Boxster, Panamera.
    
  Porsche said it will also bring Panamera hybrid super car to India. The car is being displayed at the Geneva motor show, will come to India within the next few months, the four door super car is currently available in India with a conventional 4.8liter V8 petrol engine.
 

The company seems to be very positive about the Indian market, It aims to sell 500 units this year, last year it sold only 130 units,but the company received 217 bookings till this February. The target people for the company is Businessmen and Entrepreneurs. The company is also expanding its dealer network.
