New Fiesta in, Old Ikon out

As we reported Earlier Ford will bring the European version of Fiesta to India soon this year, The car has been spotted testing near Chennai. Now the what about the existing fiesta will Ford stop producing and make the new one as a successor? we will tell you more about it.

New Fiesta In
 
The New Fiesta is expected to be priced between 7-9lakhs and Ford will not give it a new brand name because the Fiesta is a global car and the company do not want take away that image, The car follows the Kinetic design of the Ford family, Ford will also bring the hatchback version later. The company may launch this car by June this year.    

Old Ikon out 
The company has conformed that it will phase out the Ikon which has been in the market for more than a decade. The car received several upgrades including facelifts and powertrain changes, But the company sold none in the month of January because the Ikon brand is in decline stage of product life cycle and consumers have got several other options to buy in the market. 

Old Feista repositoned 
  
The company will reposition the old Fiesta in the place of Ford Ikon, we expect it will bring down the prices by making the car more localized and also share components with Figo. We cold also see a stripped down version of the car. After huge success of Figo the company seems to be very positive.
