Nissan Motor opens dealerships in Nagpur & Kolkata

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) today announced the opening of its two new dealerships in the cities of Nagpur and Kolkata respectively. In an endeavour to achieve maximum customer outreach, this marks the entry of the first dealerships of the global carmaker in Vidarbha and West Bengal regions respectively.

The opening of Navnit Nissan dealership in Nagpur and Chandrani Nissan dealership in Kolkata respectively marks Nissan’s dealership expansion strategy to reach commercial coverage in more than 78% of the national territory. Currently 14 states of the country have Nissan dealerships.

Commenting on the new dealership openings, Kiminobu Tokuyama, M.D. & CEO, Nissan Motor India said, “We are delighted to bring Nissan to the customers in Nagpur & Kolkata. We are aware this is a very important phase of our journey and we stand by our commitment to provide Indian customers with a full range of products and services.”

Says Mr. Manoj Kumar, Vice President – Operations, Hover Automotive India, “We are extremely happy to open two more dealerships. With the valued patronage and support of our dealer partners, we hope to create a significant presence of Brand Nissan and provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards.”

In the process of establishing the Nissan Brand in India, NMIPL - in partnership with Hover Automotive India, its marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm - is rapidly preparing its dealer network structure to support the up-coming growth in the country. The company today has 32 dealers operational across the country and aims to have more than 100 dealers by 2013.   

Both Navnit Nissan in Nagpur and Chandrani Nissan in Kolkata have a spacious showroom facility with service area to cater to customers’ need for a quick and better service. The sales consultant and service team at Navnit Nissan and Chandrani Nissan are trained personally by Hover Automotive India and Nissan to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

The line of vehicles offered by NMIPL is Nissan Micra (Global compact hatchback), Nissan Teana (luxury sedan), Nissan X-Trail (SUV model) and Nissan 370Z (iconic sports car).
