Volkswagen Brand’s advertising innovations bag eight awards at Abby 2011


The path breaking advertising campaigns by Volkswagen in India for the year 2010, have won eight Abbys at the Goa Fest 2011 – the country’s biggest advertising and awards festival.

The Volkswagen Brand was a deserving winner, given the concerted efforts with some ground breaking campaigns during the year 2010. The two agencies that worked on the award winning Volkswagen campaigns are Mediacom and DDB Mudra.

On winning the awards, Lutz Kothe, Head of Marketing and PR, Volkswagen Group Sales India, said, “The Marketing team has worked hard to see all the campaigns through and therefore is thrilled to receive the coveted awards in the advertising field. With the help of our agency partners, we hope to continue to bring out innovations in the field of advertising.”
